So you’ve done it and made that decision. It is fitness bootcamp time and the day is loaming fast. You have made the most momentous decision that will change your life and the way you look at yourself in the mirror. But getting yourself ready to throw everything you have into your fitness bootcamp session is a skill you need to master. It isn’t just a case of throwing a pair of sweat pants and your favorite sneakers in a bag and winging it. If you are ill prepared, there are 4 possibilities.
1. You will not enjoy it so much
2. You will be in pain from your feet most of the time
3. You will be cold wet and miserable
4. You will throw up in the first challenge
5. You could injure yourself or someone else
6. You will QUIT!!

So what are the best pre fitness bootcamp routines to get you in the right shape mentally and physically? Are there any magic tips that will guarantee fitness bootcamp success and survival? Well no there is no magic solution unless you count good old fashioned common sense and damn hard work. So here are a few pearls of wisdom from years of fitness boot camp users who have blazed that trail on your behalf.
#Quick Super Tip – Start Early
There is no point trying to get everything together at the last minute. Make sure you go through this list as soon as you have book your fitness bootcamp vacation. Some of it involves clothing and footwear choices, which need to be properly broken in and softened before you wear them day in and day out.
Blisters and pneumonia are not funny when you are trying to run up a hill, do 20 star jumps, run back down and do the same again. It will seriously dent your ability to stay motivated
The Fitness Bootcamp Tips for Survival & Getting the Most from Your Money
Before You Set Off To Fitness Bootcamps
This section is really important for your fitness bootcamp survival. Once you are at your bootcamp, there will be no mall, no internet and no shops to buy anything from. Whatever you do and take, you are pretty much stuck with it for the duration.
Tip #1 – The Day Before Fitness Bootcamp
Get yourself very well hydrated. Drink regularly the day before. You should be aiming for a minimum of 2-3 liters. The other thing is to make sure you eat well. A good dose of pasta and fruit should fix it. No alcohol
Oh, and get plenty of sleep, because you are going to need it
Tip #2 – The Morning Of Bootcamp
Make sure you are up in plenty of time for your journey as you don’t want to be stressing yourself out rushing. Have a light breakfast including fruit or fruit juice, water, oatmeal and something like one of the many high protein bars. This means you have something in your stomach. So this will stop the nausea a bit and give you something to bring up if you have to.
Make sure the clothing you have is plenty of thin layers. This will give you maximum maneuverability and allow you to adjust to situations. Always have a waterproof light top layer ready. If you get soaking wet you will weight heavier, it will be harder to perform and you will be downright miserable.
Wear a good set of quality trainers that will support your sole and ankle properly.
Tip #3 – When You Get To Fitness Boot Camp
Make sure you always have a water bottle on you and ensure that during the day you are regularly drinking to stay hydrated. If you start to go light headed then step out. Remember if you get dehydrated it also affects you brain function and ability to think and focus. This could be a safety issue if nothing else. Remember that it may not just be you who gets hurt if something happens because you didn’t drink enough water
